    डोंबिवली : डोंबिवली शहरातील वाहतूक कोंडी दिवसेंदिवस गंभीर रूप धारण करत असून इंदिरा चौक परिसरात अक्षरशः अराजक माजल्याचे चित्र पाहायला मिळत आहे. चौकाच्या चारही बाजूंनी रिक्षाचालक बेकायदेशीरपणे ५ ते ६ प्रवासी भरून रस्त्यातच थांबत असल्याने वाहतुकीला मोठा अडथळा निर्माण होत आहे. परिणामी, नागरिकांना रस्ता मिळणे कठीण झाले असून वारंवार वादविवाद, बाचाबाची आणि दादागिरीचे प्रकार वाढत असल्याची तक्रार आहे.

    याच ठिकाणी काळी-पिवळी टॅक्सी चालक देखील नियम धाब्यावर बसवून अवैध प्रवासी वाहतूक करत असल्याचे समोर आले आहे. एका टॅक्सीत ८ ते १० प्रवासी कोंबून जीव धोक्यात घालण्यात येत असल्याचे धक्कादायक वास्तव आहे. अनेक वाहनांकडे वैध परवाने व कागदपत्रे नसतानाही ही वाहतूक खुलेआम सुरू असल्याने प्रशासनाच्या भूमिकेवर प्रश्नचिन्ह निर्माण झाले आहे.

    काही दिवसांपूर्वी कल्याणजवळ रायता पुलावर झालेल्या भीषण अपघातात ११ प्रवाशांचा मृत्यू झाला होता. तरीही प्रशासनाने धडा न घेतल्याने डोंबिवलीत आजही अवैध वाहतूक जोमात सुरू असल्याचा आरोप होत आहे. नागरिकांच्या जीवाशी खेळणाऱ्या या प्रकारांवर तात्काळ कठोर कारवाई करण्याची मागणी जोर धरत आहे.

    दरम्यान, क्राईम आळा प्रतिनिधी  यांनी नागरिकांना आवाहन केले आहे की, वाहतूक शाखेतील भ्रष्टाचाराबाबत कोणाकडे ठोस माहिती असल्यास पुढे यावे. संबंधितांची ओळख गुप्त ठेवून पुराव्यांची पडताळणी करून हा मुद्दा माध्यमांद्वारे उचलला जाईल, असे त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.

    डोंबिवलीतील वाढत्या वाहतूक अराजकामुळे सर्वसामान्य नागरिक हैराण झाले असून प्रशासनाने तातडीने कडक पावले उचलण्याची गरज व्यक्त होत आहे.
