    डोंबिवली : विष्णुनगर पोलीस ठाण्याच्या डीबी पथकाने रिक्षा चोरीच्या गुन्ह्याचा वेगाने तपास करत सराईत वाहनचोराला अटक करून तब्बल २ लाख ७० हजार रुपयांचा मुद्देमाल हस्तगत केला आहे.

    विष्णुनगर पोलीस ठाण्यात दाखल CR No. 136/26 या रिक्षा चोरीच्या गुन्ह्याचा तपास सुरू असताना पोलिसांनी आदर्श रोहिदास बागडे (वय २५), रा. कुंभार खानपाडा, डोंबिवली (पश्चिम) याला ताब्यात घेतले. चौकशीत त्याच्याकडून या गुन्ह्यात चोरीस गेलेली रिक्षा जप्त करण्यात आली.

    पुढील सखोल तपासात आरोपीने इतर वाहनचोरीचे गुन्हेही केल्याचे उघड झाले. त्याच्याकडून अंबरनाथ पोलीस ठाणे CR No. 199/26 मधील चोरीस गेलेली स्कुटी तसेच सेंट्रल पोलीस ठाणे CR No. 268/26 मधील चोरीची रिक्षा देखील हस्तगत करण्यात आली.

    या कारवाईत डीबी पथकाने दोन रिक्षा आणि एक स्कुटी, असा एकूण २ लाख ७० हजार रुपयांचा मुद्देमाल जप्त करून वाहनचोरीच्या तीन गुन्ह्यांची उकल केली आहे.
    पोलिसांच्या माहितीनुसार, आरोपी आदर्श बागडे याच्याविरुद्ध यापूर्वीही विष्णुनगर, नौपाडा आणि कोपरी पोलीस ठाण्यांमध्ये वाहनचोरीचे तीन गुन्हे दाखल असून तो सराईत वाहनचोर असल्याचे समोर आले आहे.
