    कल्याण:कल्याण शहरात मागील काही दिवसांपासून दुचाकी चोरीच्या वाढत्या घटनांमुळे नागरिकांमध्ये निर्माण झालेल्या भीतीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर बाजारपेठ पोलिसांनी मोठी कारवाई करत मोटारसायकल चोरी करणाऱ्या टोळीचा पर्दाफाश केला आहे. या कारवाईत ०४ आरोपींना अटक करण्यात आली असून त्यांच्या ताब्यातून २ लाख ८० हजार रुपये किमतीच्या ०७ चोरीच्या मोटारसायकली जप्त करण्यात आल्या आहेत.

    दि २८ एप्रिल २०२६ रोजी बाजारपेठ पोलीस ठाण्याचे सहाय्यक पोलीस निरीक्षक प्रशांत आंधळे व गुन्हे प्रकटीकरण पथकाला मिळालेल्या गोपनीय माहितीनुसार सम्राट अशोक चौक, कल्याण पश्चिम येथे सापळा रचण्यात आला. त्यावेळी चोरीस गेलेली होंडा अॅक्टिव्हा (MH-05/CR-1115) घेऊन उभ्या असलेल्या समर्थ नरसु पाटील (वय १९) याला ताब्यात घेण्यात आले.

    पोलिसी खाक्या दाखवत चौकशी केली असता आरोपीने आपल्या इतर तीन साथीदारांसह मागील महिनाभरात कल्याण शहरातील विविध भागांतून दुचाकी चोरी केल्याची कबुली दिली. तपासात या टोळीने बाजारपेठ, महात्मा फुले व खडकपाडा पोलीस ठाणे हद्दीतील एकूण ०७ गुन्हे उघड केले.
    अटक आरोपी पुढील प्रमाणे:
    समर्थ नरसु पाटील (१९)
    हर्ष रमेश परदेशी (२१)
    प्रणित दिनेश शितप (२१)
    रंगनाथ उर्फ सागर सुखदेव ढवळे (१८)

    या टोळीच्या ताब्यातून होंडा, सुझुकी, TVS आदी कंपन्यांच्या ०७ दुचाकी जप्त करण्यात आल्या असून सर्व आरोपींना न्यायालयात हजर केले असता पोलीस कोठडी मंजूर करण्यात आली आहे.

    ही कारवाई पोलीस आयुक्त आशुतोष डुंबरे, अपर पोलीस आयुक्त संजय जाधव, उप पोलीस आयुक्त अतुल झेंडे , सहा. पोलीस आयुक्त अशोक होनमाणे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली वरिष्ठ पोलीस निरीक्षक सुरेशसिंग गौड, पोलीस निरीक्षक (गुन्हे) डुकळे, सपोनि प्रशांत आंधळे व त्यांच्या पथकाने केली.
