    डोंबिवली : कल्याण-डोंबिवली महानगरपालिकेच्या (KDMC) अतिक्रमण विभागाच्या कारवाईवर पुन्हा एकदा प्रश्नचिन्ह उभे राहिले आहे.  पेंढारकर कॉलेज परिसरात अतिक्रमण हटाव मोहीम राबवण्यात आली,होती मात्र या कारवाईत फक्त काही मोजक्या हातगाडी व फेरीवाल्यांवरच कारवाई करण्यात आली.

    याच ठिकाणी फूटपाथवर उघडपणे “ चहा” आणि मोमोचे स्टॉल सुरू असतानाही त्यांच्यावर कोणतीही कारवाई न झाल्यामुळे नागरिकांमध्ये संतापाची लाट उसळली आहे. “फूटपाथ हा चालण्यासाठी की व्यवसायासाठी?” असा थेट सवाल स्थानिकांनी उपस्थित केला आहे.

    स्थानिक नागरिकांच्या मते, काही ठराविक स्टॉलधारकांना जाणीवपूर्वक वगळले जात आहे. “यांना वेगळं लायसन्स आहे का? की यांच्यासाठी वेगळाच कायदा आहे?” असा सवाल उपस्थित होत असून, या मागे ‘चिरिमिरी’चा प्रकार तर नाही ना, अशीही शंका व्यक्त केली जात आहे.

    फेरीवाल्यांवर कडक कारवाई आणि काहींना मोकळीक — या दुहेरी निकषांमुळे KDMC च्या कारभारावर अविश्वास निर्माण होत आहे. प्रशासनाने जर खरोखरच अतिक्रमण हटवायचे असेल, तर सर्वांवर समान कारवाई होणे आवश्यक आहे, अशी मागणी जोर धरत आहे.

    दरम्यान, या प्रकारामुळे फूटपाथवर चालणाऱ्या नागरिकांना मोठा त्रास सहन करावा लागत असून, अपघाताचा धोका देखील वाढला आहे.
