    डोंबिवली : कल्याण-डोंबिवली महानगरपालिकेच्या १०/ई प्रभाग कार्यालयातील कारभार पुन्हा एकदा वादाच्या भोवऱ्यात सापडला असून, “या प्रभागात मनपाचे नियम लागू होतात की नाही?” असा संतप्त सवाल नागरिकांकडून उपस्थित केला जात आहे.

    डोंबिवलीतील रहिवासी मनोज गिरी यांनी गंभीर आरोप करत सांगितले की, याच प्रभागातील कर्मचारी शासकीय वेळेत पत्ते खेळत असल्याची तक्रार यापूर्वी करण्यात आली होती. मात्र त्यावर कारवाई झाल्याचे चित्र दिसत नाही.

    आज पुन्हा कामानिमित्त प्रभाग कार्यालयात गेल्यानंतर धक्कादायक प्रकार समोर आला. वार्ड ऑफिसरचा खाजगी वाहन चालक थेट अनधिकृत बांधकाम निवारण कक्षात बसलेला आढळून आला. विशेष म्हणजे या कक्षात महत्त्वाचे शासकीय कागदपत्रे, अर्जदारांची वैयक्तिक माहिती व संवेदनशील नोंदी ठेवण्यात येतात. अशा ठिकाणी खाजगी व्यक्तीचा मुक्त वावर हा सुरक्षा आणि गोपनीयतेचा गंभीर भंग असल्याचा आरोप करण्यात येत आहे.

    याशिवाय प्रभागातील बहुतांश कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या गळ्यात ओळखपत्र नसल्याने नेमका कर्मचारी कोण आणि बाहेरील व्यक्ती कोण, हेच ओळखणे कठीण झाले आहे.
    या सर्व प्रकारामुळे १०/ई प्रभाग कार्यालयाचा कारभार पूर्णपणे बेफिकीर, बेशिस्त आणि संशयास्पद पद्धतीने चालत असल्याची चर्चा रंगली असून संबंधित अधिकाऱ्यांवर तात्काळ चौकशी करून शासकीय नियमानुसार कठोर कारवाई करावी, अशी मागणी होत आहे.

    “मनपाच्या कार्यालयात नियम पायदळी तुडवले जात असतील तर सामान्य नागरिकांनी न्याय कुणाकडे मागायचा?” असा संतप्त प्रश्न नागरिकांनी उपस्थित केला आहे.
