    दि.१८ डोंबिवली: उच्च रक्तदाबावर वापरल्या जाणाऱ्या Telma AM (Telmisartan 40mg & Amlodipine 5mg) या औषधांच्या नावाखाली बनावट गोळ्यांची विक्री करणाऱ्या रॅकेटचा पर्दाफाश झाला आहे. अन्न व औषध प्रशासन विभाग आणि मानपाडा पोलीस ठाणे यांच्या संयुक्त कारवाईत सुमारे ₹८,९४,४०० किमतीच्या २,७९५ स्ट्रीप्स जप्त करण्यात आल्या.


    तपासात उघड झाले की, आरोपींनी मूळ उत्पादक कंपनीचे औषध असल्याचा भास निर्माण करून “श्रीराम फार्मा” या परवानाधारक मेडिकलमार्फत विक्री केली. औषध बनावट व आरोग्यास अपायकारक असल्याची माहिती असूनही जाणीवपूर्वक विक्री केल्याचा गंभीर आरोप आहे.


       या गंबीर गुन्ह्यात अटकेतील आरोपी पुढील प्रमाणे
    १)पंकज राधेश्याम उपाध्याय (३३, रा. दावडी, डोंबिवली पूर्व) – डिस्ट्रीब्युटर व मेडिकल व्यावसायिक (अटक: २१ जानेवारी २०२६)
    २)विवेक अजयकुमार राय (३५, रा. कांदिवली पूर्व, मुंबई) – पुरवठादार (अटक: १६ फेब्रुवारी २०२६)
    दोघांनी संगनमताने बनावट औषधांचा पुरवठा व विक्री केल्याचे प्राथमिक तपासात समोर आले आहे.

    गु. र. नं. ८९/२०२६ अन्वये भारतीय न्याय संहिता तसेच औषध व सौंदर्य प्रसाधने कायदा १९४० अंतर्गत विविध कलमांनुसार गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे. पुढील तपास सुरू आहे.
