    mumbai – निवडणुक आयोगाने राज्यातील सर्व 29 महानगरपालिकांसाठी निवडणूक जाहीर केली आहे. या सर्व निवडणुका एकाच टप्प्यात घेण्यात येणार असून 15 जानेवारीला मतदान प्रक्रिया पार पडेल, तर 16 जानेवारीला निकाल जाहीर होणार आहे. राज्य निवडणूक आयुक्त दिनेश वाघमारे यांनी ही घोषणा केली.

    राज्यातील 2869 जागांसाठी निवडणूक होणार आहे. 1442 जागा या महिलांसाठी राखीव असणार आहेत. आज पासून 29 महानगरपालिका निवडणुकीसाठी आचार संहिता लागू करण्यात आली आहे.

    नामनिर्देशन पत्र स्विकारण्याचा कालावधी: 23 – 30 डिसेंबर 2025
    नामनिर्देशन पत्रांची छाननी : 31 डिसेंबर 2025
    उमेदवारी अर्ज मागे घेण्याची मुदत : 2 जानेवारी 2026
    निवडणूक चिन्ह वाटप : 3 जानेवारी 2026
    अंतिम उमेदवाराची यादी : 3 जानेवारी 2026
    मतदानाची तारीख : 15 जानेवारी 2026
    मतमोजणीची तारीख : 16 जानेवारी 2026

    या निवडणुकीसाठी 1 जुलैची मतदार यादी ग्राह्य धरली जाणार आहे. या यादीनुसार, राज्यात एकूण 2 कोटी 4 लाख 450 मतदार आहेत, ज्यात 1 कोटी 83 हजार पुरुष मतदार, 1 कोटी 21 हजार महिला मतदार आणि 450 इतर मतदारांचा समावेश आहे.

    राज्यात एकूण 39 हजार मतदान केंद्र असतील.या निवडणुका इलेक्ट्रॉनिक व्होटिंग मशीनवर (EVM) घेण्यात येतील.एकट्या मुंबई महापालिकेसाठी 10 हजार मतदान केंद्र आणि 11 हजार कंट्रोल युनिट्स असणार आहेत.निवडणूक प्रक्रिया पार पाडण्यासाठी 1 लाख 96 हजार कर्मचाऱ्यांची नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे.

    निवडणूक आयोगाने दिव्यांग, ज्येष्ठ नागरिक आणि गर्भवती महिलांना मतदान केंद्रावर प्राधान्य देण्याची तसेच सर्व सोईसुविधा उपलब्ध करून देण्याची घोषणा केली आहे.यासोबतच काही ‘आदर्श मतदान केंद्र’ तयार करण्यात येतील, जिथे केवळ महिला कर्मचारी असतील. स्टार प्रचारकांची संख्या 20 वरून 40 करण्यात आली आहे.
